Blue Quail Energy Services, LLC (“Blue Quail”), a leading provider of water solutions to the unconventional oil and gas industry, announced a related entity strategic acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Fluid Delivery Solutions, LLC (“FDS”) on November 19, 2020. FDS was one of the largest water transfer companies in the United States. While Blue Quail has historically been a Permian-based company, this acquisition will expand its footprint into the Eagle Ford and Haynesville basins of South and East Texas and the Marcellus and Utica basins of Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Blue Quail’s corporate headquarters will remain in Midland, TX.
